Falooda is a dessert cum summer drink. Home made falooda can be easily prepared at home
Ingredients
- milk – 2 cups ( for 2 people)
- strawberry jelly – 1/2 cup
- strawberry syrup – 5-6 tbps
- falooda seeds – 1 tsp
- vermicelli -1/2 cup
- fruits
- pistachios – 5 sliced
- almonds – 5 sliced
- vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- First boil the milk, and slimmer till it reduces to 1 1/2 cups. Then turn off the flame and bring to room temperature.
- Add 2 tbsps of strawberry syrup to the milk and mix it well. Refrigerate
- Make the jelly by following instructions on the packet. Cool and refrigerate.
- Boil vermicelli, add some sugar and then refrigerate
- Soak falooda seeds in water for 30 minutes
- Take the serving glass and add a tbsp of strawberry syrup, add 2 tbsps of jelly cubes, 2 heaped tbsps of bloomed falooda seeds
- Next layer with 1/4 cup of vermicelli then fruits, pour the chilled rose milk till 3/4 of the glass.
- Add 2 scoops of vanilla ice-cream on the top. Garnish with sliced nuts and a cherry, and then serve.
